2011 JIGGING MASTER 設計 刀竿
This is one of the rod that I am considering to pair with my FreamsKix 4000 for light jigging. It is sold out in Singapore at the moment and stock will only arrived around May. Anyone have a review of this rod? Care to share with me?
Eupro Salty Chief
This rod was bought for $68.00 before the CNY. I was actually looking for the Eupro Salty Fighter but decided on this as it is newer version of the salty fighter. So far I have tested this rod at fw3 pond and landed medium size redtail cats and pacu from the pond. Personally i feel that it is a cheap and good rod that can be used for a variety of fishing from light jigging to pond fishing. It definitely have a strong backbone as I have no problem pumping the fish to the surface. Will be testing it again at neo tieo Gt pond soon as i failed to hooked up any during the last session there.
Ryobi Arctica 4000
Bought this reel for $110.00 on the 7-3-2011.
Original knob was changed to a Seahawk power knob.
Specifications of the reel
The spare spool that came with the reel was exchanged for a size 3000 with one of my fishing kaki. The pic below shows the difference in the spool sizes for the 3000 and 4000 version
Size 3000 spool loaded with 200m of VARIVAS High Power Pe 2
Size 4000 spool loaded with ~160m of PowerPro 40lb
Total Damages for the the Reel
Ryobi Arctica Size 4000-------------> $110.00
Seahawk Power Knob--------------->$13.00
PowerPro 40lb---------------------->$41.00
VARIVAS High Power Pe 2---------->$46.60
Total-------------------------------->$210.00
I will be using this reel mainly for my light jigging trip as well as the GT in Eduard Pond. The above reel will be paired with a 6ft Eupro Salty Chief rated 10-20lb.
note: will post a review once I had tested the reel for my coming trip on April
