Kyoto GT Pond

Being the first time there, I brought quite a few lures namely storm chug bug, halco roosta, rapala skitterpop ,alive swimbait , brand less 8gm poppers and some brand less 3 section swimbait. I also brought a few live milkfish just in case my lures doesnt look appealing to the GTs.

The 2 setup i used ,
1)6ft Pro-tech Titanium Spin 8-14lb paired with a Shimano Sienna 2500fb with 20 lb power pro
2)AJN Carbon Rod paired with Daiwa SS700 powerpro.

30lb Yamatoyo 100% FC leader were used on both setup.

I only manage to get a hook up after about 20 cast using the different lures available. But once I landed the first GT, I started landing more and more fish with the different types of lure. The GT were in a biting frenzy for the first hour taking all the different types of lure my kaki used.

But after the first hour, the GT only responded to the berkley power gulp which my kaki brought for the trip. The milkfish i brought only manage to land a KIM, the rest of the milkfish were released to the pond.

This is a video of the AJN rod in action

I feel that AJN Solid Carbon is a very strong and good rod .It definitely bring much fun and thrill when you see it bend to a U shape.
